The Jakob Bengel Foundation has asked jewellery designer and anthropologist, Martina Dempf to compile a selection of jewellery objects that represent the special features of the African culture of adornment. This will be juxtaposed with her own creations and works by invited European artists who have been inspired by encounters with African culture.
